Tell us the date first. We do not scare easily.
A load peak your own shop cannot absorb, or a date that cannot move. We check capacity against your date before we quote.

Why the date comes before the price.
Most of the time lost on an urgent part is lost before anything is machined.
The date is the first thing we ask about, not the last. Capacity is checked against it before we price, so the date you get is one we can hold.
Where a first batch would unblock you, we quote a partial delivery next to the full one, so you can choose.
What happens to a date here.
Capacity for the peak, not for the year
You do not have to move the whole part number to us. A peak, a run or a single batch is a normal order here.
Checked before it is promised
The date on the quote is checked against the machine, not copied from a standard lead time.
Held, or renegotiated early
If something moves, you hear it from the same engineer, not from a delivery note that does not arrive.
Start with the date.
We check capacity against your date, then price against it.
Answer within TODOThe interval belongs here, on every form on the site, and it is the last thing a buyer reads before deciding whether to attach the drawing. Nothing FME publishes states one, so the form asks for a drawing and promises nothing back. /contact#form

Common questions when the date is at risk
When the date is the actual requirement.
- Is the date checked against capacity before you quote?
- Yes. In this situation we check capacity against your date first and name the price after. A date we cannot hold does not go in the quote.
- What if the date cannot be held?
- We say so in the answer, with the date we can hold. That is faster for both sides than a date that slips later.
- Will FME take a load peak from our own shop?
- Yes. A peak your own shop cannot absorb is one of the cases this inquiry is for. Send the drawings, the quantity and the date that cannot move.
- How fast is the answer when the date is at risk?
- TODO: FME to state the time to a feasibility answer. In this situation it is the figure that decides the inquiryIn this situation the buyer has already lost time somewhere else, so how fast FME answers is the whole decision, and the site does not say it.

A part rarely fits one situation only. If two of them apply to yours, say so in the inquiry and we will price it that way.
